Miel / Terms

Make useful things. Use Miel responsibly.

These Terms of Use set the ground rules for Miel Web, Sparky, Miel Bot, and related services. By using Miel, you agree to these Terms.

Effective September 7, 2026·Version 1.0
01

Agreement and eligibility

These Terms form an agreement between you and The Mythos Company. If you use Miel on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use online services where you live. If you are under the age of majority, use Miel only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

02

The service

Miel provides conversational, coding, and agentic tools that may help you explore ideas, write software, or complete tasks. Features may change, be limited by availability, or be released as previews. We may suspend or modify a feature to maintain security, comply with law, or improve the service.

Some features rely on external services, including authentication, hosting, infrastructure, and AI processing. Their availability, output, and terms may be separate from Miel and are not fully controlled by us.

03

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, providing accurate information, and notifying us of unauthorized access. Authentication is provided through Supabase and may include email verification or an approved sign-in method.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for making sure that anyone you authorize to use it follows these Terms. We may limit or suspend an account when necessary to prevent abuse, protect users, or comply with law.

04

Your content and generated content

You retain your rights in prompts, code, files, and other content you submit. You grant Miel a limited, non-exclusive license to host, transmit, process, display, and modify that content only as needed to operate, secure, and provide the features you request.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit your content and for reviewing outputs before relying on or sharing them. Generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or similar to content generated for another person. It may not be unique, and it may not be suitable for your intended purpose.

05

Acceptable use

You may not use Miel to:

  • break the law, infringe rights, or violate another person's privacy;
  • upload or process content you do not have permission to use;
  • create malware, credential theft tools, destructive code, or instructions intended to facilitate harm;
  • harass, defraud, impersonate, exploit, or target people or vulnerable groups;
  • make high-impact decisions about people without appropriate human review and applicable safeguards;
  • circumvent rate limits, security controls, access restrictions, or safety measures;
  • reverse engineer, overload, scrape, resell, or interfere with Miel or its supporting services; or
  • submit sensitive information where you do not have a lawful basis or where the service is not appropriate for that information.

We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including removing content, limiting access, or ending an account.

06

AI limitations and human judgment

Miel is an assistive tool, not a substitute for professional judgment. Do not rely on an output as medical, legal, financial, employment, safety-critical, or other professional advice. You must independently verify important facts, code, calculations, permissions, and actions before using them.

Agent features may take actions based on your instructions. You are responsible for reviewing permissions, connected tools, destinations, and results before allowing an agent to operate in a production or sensitive environment.

07

Intellectual property

Miel, its visual identity, software, interfaces, documentation, and underlying technology are owned by The Mythos Company or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited right to use Miel while your account is in good standing; they do not transfer ownership of Miel or its brand.

08

Availability and changes

We work to keep Miel available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular response time, or that every output will be available or error-free. Maintenance, security events, provider outages, and circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect the service.

We may update these Terms as the service develops. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable notice and update the effective date.

09

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Miel is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that Miel will meet every requirement, remain secure in every circumstance, or produce accurate or complete results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Mythos Company will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or related to Miel. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

10

Termination

You may stop using Miel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, misuse, legal compliance, or a material breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should continue— including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions—will survive termination.

11

Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to The Mythos Company's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise. Any dispute will be handled in a venue permitted by applicable law.
